We're looking for a motivated associate attorney to join our Dothan practice. This is an opportunity to get real, hands-on courtroom and client experience faster than you would at a larger firm — with direct mentorship and a genuine path toward greater responsibility and, eventually, partnership potential.

Whether you're a recent Alabama State Bar admittee or a third-year law student preparing to sit for the bar, we want to hear from you.

As an associate at our firm, you won't be buried in back-office research for years before seeing a client or a courtroom. You'll meet with clients and helping manage their matters from intake through resolution, appear in court in Houston County and surrounding circuit courts, draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence, conduct legal research and building case strategy alongside the firm's principal attorney, and learn the business side of running a practice, something most large-firm associates never see. 

Practice areas include Family Law, Social Security Disability, Workers Compensation, Personal Injury and Wills and Estates

Candidates must be licensed to practice in Alabama, or scheduled to sit for the Alabama State Bar exam, have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, have strong writing and research skills, be comfortable with direct client relationships, and be self-motivated. Ties to or genuine interest in the Wiregrass region a plus, but not required. 

We welcome applications from third-year law students (3L) ahead of bar results. We're happy to discuss clerkship-to-associate pathways, start dates contingent on bar passage, and support during your bar prep.

The Position Offers competitive salary ranging from $75,000 per year with bar admission
